Job Summary
To support serious student-athletes, the remote D1 Athlete Youth Mentor will engage in one-on-one video sessions, providing academic guidance and sports mentorship while leveraging their Division I athletic experience to foster student focus and development.
Key responsibilities
- Guide students through their academic day, ensuring they remain focused and on task during learning sessions
- Mentor students on athletic mental strategies, training habits, and the balance between academics and sports
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff, providing updates on student progress in academics and athletics
Required qualifications
- Division I athletic background in any sport
- Experience working with young people in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles
- Strong judgment and ability to build trust with young athletes
- Proficient in clear communication during one-on-one video sessions
- Reliable and organized with a suitable remote work setup
