z/OS Migration Subject Matter Expert
Job Summary
To support IT infrastructure initiatives, the full-time Migration z/OS Subject Matter Expert will manage the installation, customization, and support of z/OS systems while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Install, customize, test, and document independent software vendor (ISV) products for z/OS systems
- Provide production support and off-hour coverage, including on-call assistance as needed
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for software and hardware installations and upgrades on the IBM z/OS platform
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing Mainframe z/OS Systems
- Proficiency with IBM SMP/e for software installation and management
- Experience with z/OS, z/OSMF, JES2, JES3, and related technologies
- Knowledge of ISV products such as BMC, SFTP, and others
- Ability to provide 24/7/365 software support, including off-hours on-call support
