Zero Balance Denials Supervisor

Job Summary

Leading a team of Zero Balance specialists, the full-time remote Zero Balance Denials Supervisor will manage operations focused on recovering hospital claims deemed zero balance, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, coaching, and support to assigned Zero Balance team members
• Identify and pursue recovery opportunities within large inventories of zero balance hospital claims
• Train and mentor staff on accuracy, payer strategy, and zero balance recovery best practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 5+ years' experience in the healthcare field, specifically in zero balance operations
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience
• Proven experience in hospital revenue cycle operations with a focus on recovery
• Strong understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and data requirements
