Job Summary

A company is looking for a 3D Character Art Generalist to join their remote team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop stylised characters through sculpting, retopology, and hand-painted texturing
  • Animate character attacks and gameplay-critical movements for player and enemy characters
  • Rig and implement characters in Unreal Engine 5, ensuring clean integration into the game engine
Required Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of form, proportion, and colour
  • Strong hand-painted texturing skills
  • Deep familiarity with stylised asset creation pipelines for Unreal Engine 5
  • Proficiency with tools such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, or Photoshop
  • Ability to sketch or quickly concept visuals to communicate ideas
