Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Coordinator I to assist with administrative tasks in the Appeals Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately categorize and triage incoming appeals or inquiries
  • Review appeal requests and redirect them to appropriate functional areas
  • Manage a large volume of documents and interact with other departments to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in Appeals & Grievances
  • Ability to handle a high volume case load and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel and demonstrated data entry skills
  • Knowledge of medical records organization and claims terminology preferred
