Job Summary
A company is looking for an Appeals Coordinator I to assist with administrative tasks in the Appeals Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately categorize and triage incoming appeals or inquiries
- Review appeal requests and redirect them to appropriate functional areas
- Manage a large volume of documents and interact with other departments to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in Appeals & Grievances
- Ability to handle a high volume case load and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Excel and demonstrated data entry skills
- Knowledge of medical records organization and claims terminology preferred
