Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer (REMOTE).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and the application community to maintain a resilient security posture for applications
- Support Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing, as well as IDE Plug-in environments
- Implement enterprise-wide security controls to secure applications, systems, and infrastructure services
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of information technology experience
- 3+ years of experience with SAST, DAST, and Veracode
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or C#
- Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, or FedRAMP
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and a HS diploma or GED
