Associate Director of Scientific Programs
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Director of Scientific Programs who will advance mission-driven research and science-policy initiatives focused on energy and climate solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Maintain scientific rigor and quality across all program work products while fostering a culture of excellence
- Support the shaping of the research agenda by coordinating strategic planning and ensuring efficient program delivery
Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as environmental science, public health, or climate science
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in at least three areas: Clean Energy Transition, Environmental Public Health, Climate, Energy Equity, or Oil and Gas
- 5-7 years of experience in climate, energy, or public health research, with at least 3 years in a program management role
- Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams effectively
- Familiarity with regulations and ethical guidelines governing research activities
