Backend Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Backend Engineer - Validator Engine Specialist (EMEA).
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the validator engine to meet jurisdictional requirements
- Extend the rules engine written in Java to support new use cases
- Implement, debug, and refine JSON-based DSL rules for accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot Framework
- Demonstrated reliance on unit testing and mocking frameworks
- Residing in or near the CET timezone (including Eastern Europe)
