Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Representative to assist with customer EDI functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the EDI function for electronic claims submission
• Maximize utilization and EDI capabilities to enhance cash flow and minimize rejections and denials
• Setup and onboard Customer EDI

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year's experience working with a healthcare provider or an Associate's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management or a related field
• Experience with medical billing
• Proven experience working payer denials including but not limited to commercial, government, out of network, workers compensation, and auto-vehicle
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and speed while working within tight deadlines
