California Privacy Program Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Privacy Program Manager to support and enhance its global privacy program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the operational aspects of the global privacy program
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy laws and manage Privacy Impact Assessments related to biometric data processing
- Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree or JD is a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or compliance roles, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment
- Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT are highly desirable
- Strong understanding of global privacy laws and biometric data protection requirements
- Experience conducting PIAs, DPIAs, and managing privacy frameworks
