Job Summary
A company is looking for a Profee Cath Lab Medical Coder for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign CPT and ICD-10 Codes for professional services while adhering to coding guidelines
- Analyze and correct CCI Edits and Medical Necessity Edits during coding
- Maintain coding knowledge and provide feedback to providers as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
- 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab coding
- 2+ years of experience with ICD-10
- Proficiency in using a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
