Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Physician who will review medical records and perform coding for diagnoses and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, and sequence clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and track productivity levels

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• Minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care
• Must possess relevant coding certifications (CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P)
• 2 years of EPIC experience required
• Two years of Profee experience required
