Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Informatics - Chart Preparation professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records within HIEs and other sources for pre-visit chart preparation
- Identify chronic conditions as part of prospective chart preparation
- Provide guidance to field staff on clinical documentation and risk adjustment best practices
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in pre-visit chart preparation
- Thorough understanding of compliance-related rules for chart preparation activities
- Subject matter expertise on the CMS HCC Risk Adjustment program
- Current certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), or equivalent is preferred
- Experience with athenahealth and GSuite is preferred
