Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding Educator.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a coding education program for staff and stakeholders
- Monitor coding quality, provide feedback, and develop educational curricula
- Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and communicate updates to staff
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P) credential
- Minimum of five years of multi-specialty coding experience
- Previous teaching and/or training experience preferred
- Specialty knowledge in OBGYN, Ophthalmology, and Surgery is a plus
