Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding Specialist - Per Diem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate coding of surgical, diagnostic, and procedure services based on clinical documentation
- Collaborate with Compliance, Audit, and Education teams to address documentation issues and improve quality
- Ensure a 95% accuracy rate for quality and productivity in coding tasks
Required Qualifications:
- One year of coding experience in a single or multi-specialty provider-based practice
- GED or HiSET required
- Certification as a Coding Specialist from the American Health Information Management Association
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10 codes, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
