Certified Outpatient Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Medical Coder Edits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign CPT and ICD-10 Codes for outpatient surgeries and other medical services while adhering to coding guidelines
• Analyze and correct CCI Edits and Medical Necessity accounts
• Provide documentation feedback to physicians and maintain up-to-date coding knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
• 2+ years of Outpatient Facility coding experience
• 1+ years of experience with LCD, NCD, and related reimbursement structures
• Expert proficiency in CPT and ICD-10-CM coding
