Cobol Application Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cobol Application Developer to support its service operations team for the CLOAS application.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the Long Term Care policy administration system, resolving issues and maintaining system interactions
- Analyze user incidents, propose solutions, and implement changes while ensuring compliance with technical architecture
- Create reports for data analysis to support business activities and fulfill regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications and Education
- 4-year college degree and relevant experience in mainframe programming (COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business logic and system impacts
- Basic experience with SQL and data analysis
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment on complex mainframe systems
