Lead COBOL Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead MF Application Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy code on a mainframe platform based on user specifications
- Create and maintain documentation for all development processes, including specifications and user guides
- Provide technical assistance and leadership to the team, ensuring timely and correct delivery of work
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 8 years of COBOL programming experience in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
- Experience with technical leadership and mainframe technologies
- Production support experience, including break-fix support
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
