Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage data systems, security, and integration for the Personnel Enterprise Decision Support System (PEDSS).
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, test, and implement PEDSS databases in compliance with Army data policies
- Coordinate database updates, integrations, and security enhancements to protect Army personnel data
- Design and construct large relational databases, optimizing performance and functionality
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database design, administration, testing, and implementation
- Experience with SQL, DB2, Oracle, Sybase, and Datacom
- Understanding of Army manpower and force management operations
