Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Administrator to manage and maintain Postgres and Microsoft SQL Servers and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions as needed
- Assist in database design and enhancements for optimal performance and ensure database integrity and availability
- Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations while troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a DBA with Postgres and Microsoft SQL
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
