Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Localization to lead global translation and quality processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the end-to-end localization process across product, marketing, legal, and other key teams
- Develop and implement a comprehensive localization strategy to support global expansion efforts
- Manage translation and quality vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in localization, translation management, or a related field, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong background in localization strategy and translation quality management
- Experience with vendor management, including negotiation and performance evaluation
- Expertise with localization tools and technologies, such as Translation Management Systems (TMS)
- Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) best practices and localization quality assurance processes
