A company is looking for an ED Profee Coding Specialist to provide coding services for various medical specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4 specialties
- Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines
- Maintain productivity and quality standards, participating in ongoing training and education
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
- Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Must have reliable internet and current coding materials
- Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
