Engineering Manager I
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Engineer Manager I (Remote based in the US).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staff recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and ensure budget alignment
- Lead a development and/or operations team in an Agile environment to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to junior developers while troubleshooting application defects
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in an Agile environment
- 5+ years of professional experience with SQL in a relational database environment
- Knowledge of design patterns, best practices, and microservices architecture
- Experience in Healthcare or Healthcare IT is a plus
