Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder ER.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstracts, codes, sequences, and interprets clinical information from various medical records
- Assigns correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
- Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and tracks productivity levels
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
- Minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
- Certificates and/or licenses such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
- Experience with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
- Well-versed in Injection and Infusion coding
