Job Summary
A company is looking for an IBM Netezza Data Migration Specialist to lead a migration project from IBM Netezza to Amazon Redshift on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current network configuration and design detailed migration plans
- Oversee the export of IBM Netezza data to Amazon S3 and load it into Amazon Redshift
- Migrate and adjust existing DataStage ETL jobs for AWS compatibility
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8+ years of data migration and ETL experience, focusing on IBM Netezza and AWS environments
- Proficiency with IBM Netezza, AWS services (DMS, S3, KMS, Redshift), and DataStage ETL
- Strong background in data transformation, migration, and validation processes
- AWS certifications are preferred
- Prior experience with IBM Netezza-to-AWS migrations is preferred
