Job Summary

A healthcare company is looking for an Indexing Clerk.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Accurately file, scan, and index health record documents into electronic health record systems
  • Maintain confidentiality of all matters governed by federal and state laws and CHC regulations
  • Process web-based encounters received from patients and locate, retrieve, maintain, organize, and assist users in file/records
Required Qualifications:
  • Associates, Medical Administrative Assistant Cert. or Medical Assistant Cert. required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Microsoft office experience required
  • ECW\Centricity knowledge and prior experience in medical records required
  • Must be able to follow written and oral directions and work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills required
