Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company in the Healthcare industry is looking for an Information Security Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company's fleet of Mac devices and oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) software
• Write, implement, and maintain Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and conduct internal audits, coordinate penetration tests, and audit vendors to evaluate and improve the company's security posture
• Collaborate with engineers to advocate and enforce top-tier security practices across their codebase, identifying and rectifying vulnerabilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience working with or managing an ISMS, conducting internal audits, coordinating penetration tests, and auditing vendors
• Proficient with macOS and its associated security protocols and tools
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, Identity and Access Management (IAM) role management, and system access controls
• A solid understanding of best security practices in software development
