Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstracts, codes, sequences, and interprets clinical information from various medical records
- Assigns correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
- Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and coding guidelines
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting
- Experience with Epic and Optum CAC
- Must hold RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential
- Able to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm CST
- Must maintain 95% coding accuracy
