Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder II, working outside the city in Revenue Integrity - Coding, fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
- Assign and sequence codes while applying regulatory coding guidelines and organizational policies
- Ensure accurate coding and abstraction of various medical records to meet financial goals
Required Qualifications
- Three years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
- Certification such as CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
- Experience in an acute care setting is desired
- High school diploma or equivalent
