Kubernetes Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to support the US Space Force's Space Systems Command.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-prem environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, networking, and persistent storage solutions
Required Qualifications
- BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years; additional experience may substitute for a degree
- Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) and Azure Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or equivalent certifications required
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their Kubernetes services
