Job Summary
A company is looking for a Life Benefit Case Manager I.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reviews, investigations, and liability of Group Life Insurance Claims
- Adjudicate claims accurately and fairly, including complex benefit calculations and accidental death investigations
- Engage in departmental team meetings, lead Continuous Improvement forums, and mentor and assist with training of less experienced employees
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of claims experience, preferably in Life or Disability claims
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in PC environment and MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with a strong commitment to client service and quality
