Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Value-Based Provider Contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Provider Contracting functions and daily operations of the department
- Negotiate and implement complex contracts with various healthcare providers
- Develop and monitor strategies to minimize financial exposure and ensure compliance with APM requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care, or Provider Contracting, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- 3+ years of experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting
- Working knowledge of various managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing or supervising employees
