Mid Level Distribution System Planning Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mid-Level Distribution System Planning Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Performing distribution system planning and analysis for a variety of clients, including load application studies and impact analysis
- Supporting generator interconnection applications and associated system impact studies
- Aiding clients in complying with applicable regulatory policies and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering experience in power system analysis and modeling
- Experience in load flow analysis, harmonics, and power quality analysis
- Familiarity with industry standards and distribution planning software
- Preferred: Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, experience with inverter-based resources and renewable generation, and knowledge of Distributed Energy Resources (DER)
