Job Summary
A company is looking for a Nephrologist to provide remote peer review services in a flexible, nonclinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical reviews and provide objective recommendations on patient care
- Evaluate cases related to workers' compensation, disability, and health plan prior authorizations
- Utilize a secure online portal to complete reviews without patient contact
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Active board certification in Nephrology
- Active, unrestricted medical licensure in Minnesota or Texas
- Currently provide direct clinical patient care for at least 8 hours per week
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience, including residency
- Ability to complete reviews from within the United States
