NCDR CathPCI Abstractor
Job Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a NCDR CathPCI Abstractor for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and abstract data from patient medical records related to cardiac care
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of abstracted data by cross-referencing information
- Enter abstracted data into a database and participate in quality assurance processes
Qualifications:
- Experience abstracting in the NCDR CathPCI Registry within the last 2 years
- Familiarity with medical records, billing/documentation practices, and standard healthcare quality concepts
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- MSN, BSN, or RN preferred; CPHQ preferred
- Remote position
