Network Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Maintenance Engineer who will manage and coordinate network maintenance activities to minimize service disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage network maintenance activities, assessing customer impact and issuing notifications
• Evaluate the impact and urgency of changes, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective change management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree or two-year college degree with relevant experience; or at least nine years of related experience
• Minimum of five years of experience in change management or network operations in the telecom industry
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and telecom network technologies
• Knowledge of fiber optic network equipment and architectures
• Proficiency in change management tools and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
