Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Distributed Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build new capabilities for distributed systems platforms from inception to deployment
- Develop automation for deploying and managing large-scale distributed clusters
- Mentor team members and encourage the adoption of services within the infrastructure
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and distributed systems
- 5+ years of product development and DevOps experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and Kafka
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical projects across the enterprise
- Hands-on experience with deployment technologies like Chef or Ansible and Kubernetes
- Strong development experience in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and Python
