Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pro-Fee ED Medical Coder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes for outpatient Emergency Room Department services
- Expert knowledge in ProFee coding specialties and analyzing/correcting CCI Edits and Medical Necessity Edits
- Adhering to official coding guidelines, maintaining coding quality and productivity standards
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Professional coder certification with AHIMA and/or AAPC
- 3+ years of Outpatient physician coding experience
- 2+ years of ICD-10 experience
- 2+ years of experience with PCs in a Windows environment
