Proposal Writer

Job Summary

A company in the education industry is seeking a Proposal Writer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze requirements for successful education services proposals/charter school applications
• Collaborate with respective departments to create draft responses and exhibits
• Work closely with SVP of Business Development to complete proposals and charter applications that meet RFP or authorizer deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of K-12 public education program models
• Previous K-12 teaching or administrative experience with knowledge of curriculum and instructional methodology
• Experience in researching, writing, and editing education content including charter school applications
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Education, English, Journalism; Master's degree preferred
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and internet research ability
