Job Summary
A company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers, place and track purchase orders, and negotiate terms and contracts
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, monitor performance, and resolve supplier-related issues
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, monitor inventory levels, and ensure compliance with company policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
