Remote Accessibility Analyst
Job Summary
A university is in need of a Remote Accessibility Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and approving requests for implementation of third-party tools, media assets, and resources
- Conducting in-depth Section 508/WCAG compliance assessments of the curriculum
- Reviewing, identifying and remediating instructional materials that present barriers for students or faculty
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Universal design, Accessibility, Learning design and technology, curriculum and instruction, etc
- 2+ years related experience advising and testing the accessibility of instructional technologies, documents, and media
- 1 year experience with web accessibility software
- 1 year of experience with assistive technologies
- Experience with multimedia development
- Knowledge of disability law, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
