Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medical billing processes including claim creation, submission, and patient balances
- Obtain and review supporting documentation and monitor insurance denials for resolution
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve claim and account issues while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable/Denial specialist
- Familiarity with medical information systems and records management software
- Understanding of third-party reimbursement rules and medical billing
- Ability to multi-task and manage daily assignments effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
