Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Certified Billing and Coding - Medical Assisting Adjunct (ASMOA).
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting online lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical courses as required
- Holding office hours to meet students' needs and ensuring prompt responses to inquiries
- Providing engaging weekly recorded lectures and keeping students informed of their progress
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
- CPC - Certified Professional Coder (AAPC), CCS (AHIMA), or equivalent licensure
- 2-3 years of recent experience in medical billing, coding, or medical office management
- Experience with LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, etc.)
- Foundational or advanced knowledge in medical terminology, medical law and ethics, and anatomy and physiology
