Remote Cloud Operations Manager
Job Summary
A software development company has an open position for a Remote Cloud Operations Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in driving the strategy and roadmap for Cloud Operations
- Manage multiple resources across global time zones, teams, technologies, and understand finance controls
- Oversee operations teams in a people management capacity, and create project plans, execution strategies and set team priorities
Qualifications for this position include:
- 7+ years experience in Engineering, CloudOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience in cloud-based service management inclusive of oversight, administration, maintenance and more
- Strong familiarity with AWS resources such as EC2, RDS, Cloudwatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, API Gateway
- Capable of Code Build and Deployment – CI/CD principals, AWS CodeDeploy, Pipelines, Powershell
- Capable of Infrastructure as Code – CloudFormation and Terraform
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, systems automation, containerization, and orchestration
