Job Summary
A provider of technology-enabled coding services is in need of a Remote CMS HCC Concurrent HCC Coder.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing concurrenc coding CMS-HCC
- Reviewing the EHR/medical nnotes and HCC codes in real time before the claims are submitted to payers
- Complying with accepted coding practices as defined in the ICD-10-CM, AHA Coding Clinic®, and Client Coding Guidelines HCC Coding
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Current CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
- 3 years HCC coding experience
- 3 years experience coding Annual Wellness Visits for Medicare
- Ability to maintain a 95% accuracy rate
- Ability to pass company's risk adjustment/HCC coding exam
- Minimum of 5 ful years experience post certification
