Remote Developmental Editor

Job Summary

A group of educators dedicated to teaching math is seeking a Remote Developmental Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Editing of student and teacher facing mathematics curriculum and support materials for grades 6-12
• Editing content for organization, consistency, accuracy, and flow of the text, helping to improve clarity and readability

Skills and Requirements Include:

• BA/MA in Mathematics, English, journalism, education, or related field
• A minimum of two years as a developmental editor of grades 6-12 mathematics materials in educational publishing or educational technology
• Understanding of appropriate voice, vocabulary, and compositional structure for students across grade levels
