Remote Hosting Architect
Job Summary
An IT staffing and recruiting agency is in need of a Remote Hosting Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating solutions using automation tools such as PowerShell DSC
- Providing vision and direction for the future of our Cloud and On-Premise Data Infrastructure
- Documenting current systems and draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years' experience as a VMware Architect / Administrator for a large enterprise
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years' experience with architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the AWS platform
- Strong understanding of networking
- 5+ years' experience with Windows Server OS, Linux OS, Web SSO, SAML, OAuth2, and Active Directory
- Strong working knowledge and hands on experience with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudwatch, Load Balancers, VPCs, and Transit Gateways
