Job Summary
A plumbing and HVAC supply company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote HVAC Mechanical Piping and Duct Trade Building Information Modeling Manager.
Must be able to:
- Manage team responsible for Mechanical Piping and Duct Trade modeling/coordination workflows
- Capture, prepare, validate, and implement 3D data
- Partner with project Construction Engineers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of work experience in virtual design in construction field (HVAC) or within Trades (HVAC)
- Understanding of construction (both pre & post) practices and building codes for Mechanical Piping Systems
- Ability to digest critical building & blueprint specification data
- Experience managing teams within the HVAC trade
- Experience in computer aided software such as Revit, Glue, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc
