Remote Lead Network Engineer

Job Summary

A financial technology company is filling a position for a Remote Lead Network Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, planning, building, and implementing highly reliable and available networks
• Providing Level II/III network support, repair, Network Automation using Ansible, and Terraform skills
• Helping ensure the network complies with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7 to 10 years of experience with design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise networks
• Hands-on experience of building and operating AWS networking services
• Proficient knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, Security Posturing (Cisco ISE), and architecting/operating data centers
• Experience with emerging technologies VoIP (H.323 & SIP), Video Conferencing, Wireless (802.11 environments), Security (802.1x, IPS/IDS, NAC)
