Remote Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduling Specialist for the Ambulatory Contact Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls to schedule or reschedule specialty appointments for Neurology, Orthopedics, and Cardiovascular patients
• Handle 100-200 phone calls per day and address online requests for appointment scheduling
• Complete patient registration to ensure timely and efficient service delivery

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Medical office or healthcare experience required; prior contact/call center experience preferred
• Strong customer service background and proficiency in Microsoft products
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple programs effectively
• Familiarity with Epic or other cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) systems desired
